This adapter plate is supplied complete with bolts etc. so that it is plug and play.

With these adapters you create the right dimensions for mounting the upgrade ignition coils. By mounting the upgraded ignition coils it is possible to obtain an improved throttle response, to create a better combustion in the combustion chamber and to give an optical improvement under the hood.

The standard ignition coils are often not strong enough for tuned engines.

Even with original engines, these want to fail quickly. This way you get that the engine will not run properly or that you get unburned mixture.

RTMG has tested the R8 ignition coils with this adapter and they continue to perform on the 1.4 engine up to 650 hp. This solves the misfiring problem so that your cylinders always have a good combustion.

Note: when mounting this adapter with the ignition coils, it is not possible to replace the engine cover on the BMG and BLY engine.

To mount the R8 ignition coils you need to adjust the plugs.
