With the RacingLine (VWR) magnetic sump plug you catch all metal particles in your oil and protect your engine and oil. The RacingLine Magnetic Sump Plug attracts and separates the tiny abrasive and ferrous metal particles carried by drivetrain oils, preventing them from circulating through your engine's lubrication systems. In addition, the harder your engine works, the more you run the risk of tiny dirt. In that case, the advantage of using a magnetic sump plug is even greater.
NB:
Not suitable for versions with a plastic oil pan (as is the case with the EA888 engines (e.g. VW Golf 7 GTI). Another RacingLine article is available for this in our shop. Furthermore, it is advisable to always compare whether before use. the thread matches the original crankcase plug.
